Private Notes does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. Everything stays on your device. Always.
What data does the app collect?
None. Private Notes does not collect any personal information, usage data, analytics, crash reports, or any other data from your device.
Where is my data stored?
All notes are stored exclusively in a local SQLite database on your device. The app has no internet permission and cannot make network requests of any kind.

- No third-party SDKs or analytics libraries
Does the app share data with third parties?
No. There are no third parties involved. The app contains no advertising SDKs, analytics frameworks, or external services of any kind.
Device backups
Cloud backup is explicitly disabled (android:allowBackup="false").
Your notes are not included in Google's automatic device backup service.
If you uninstall the app, your notes are permanently deleted.
Permissions
Private Notes requests no device permissions. It does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or any other sensitive resource.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at rainybit.pabliato.dk/privacy-notice with a revised effective date.
